Andrew Conery

Andrew Conery, born and raised in Rhode Island, received his Bachelor of Science degree in biochemistry from Case Western Reserve University in Clevelend, OH. He went on to receive his Ph.D. from the University of California, Berkeley, in Molecular Cell Biology. His graduate thesis, entitled “Regulation of TGF-beta-induced apoptosis by the serine/threonine kinase Akt/Protein Kinase B,” was conducted in the laboratory of Dr. Kunxin Luo. He is currently a postdoc in Dr. Ed Harlow’s lab and studies the development of genomic instability during early lung tumorigenesis.
