Dongmei Zuo

Dongmei Zuo joined the Harvard Institute of Proteomics as Bioinformaticist in 2000. She has led the development of several major software applications including FLEXGene LIMS for tracking the high throughput cloning process in the lab, PlasmID for online clone storage and distribution, STS for plate storage tracking in freezers, and NAPPA Tracking System for in-house developed high density protein array tracking and experimental result analysis. Dongmei has also developed the initial version of MedGene software and assisted in ACE software development. Prior to join HIP, Dongmei worked as Research Scientist/Research Bioinformatics Analyst in bioinformatics group at Aventis Cambridge Genomics Center (now Sanofi Aventis Pharmaceuticals, Cambridge Genomics Center). Before Aventis, Dongmei worked in the Research Computing Department at Genetics Institute, Inc. (now Wyeth, Inc.). Dongmei holds master’s degrees in Biology and Computer Science, and had three years of Ph.D. training in Biology. Outside of work, Dongmei enjoys reading, swimming, cooking, travel, and being with her family and friends.
